DDCP Unveils New Logo on its 45th Anniversary

DDCP Luzon Hub Office, Mankayan, Benguet – A new company logo was unveiled by Diamond Drilling Corporation of the Philippines as it turned 45 years old last August 2016 under its dynamic management team.

DDCP celebrated another milestone, after 45 years of providing quality drilling services to its clients. It launched its new logo to depict the company’s commitment to all stakeholders and the environment. Likened to the diamond coring drill bit, the new logo targets and cuts through drilling needs of all its clients, and like a diamond, it shines brighter and greener, symbolizing a fresh start for the company. It also projects the company’s commitment of being environmentally friendly and economically conscious in all its areas of drilling operations.

The new logo was unveiled to DDCP’s main client, Lepanto Mine Division, on August 18, 2016. Guests, headed by LMD VP/RM Tom Consolacion, HRAD VP Knestor Godino, , former and active employees, and the Lepanto community, graced the occasion. Looking towards the future, General Manager Bernardo J. Arellano Jr. spoke and stood firm on his stand of introducing better changes for the company, as he acknowledged the never fading support of LCMC partners, as he warmly welcomed everyone to the event. Select employees entertained the guests with their unique cultural dance presentation, filling the air with gongs to welcome a newly transformed DDCP.

The company not only celebrated its rebranding and 45th anniversary; it also honored Mr. Benedict G. Valmonte, for thirty long years of loyal and untiring service to the company. Mr. Valmonte started his career in DDCP in 1986 as a Mucker, and steadily rose to become a Drill Helper and eventually as a Control Room Operator. Then in 1997 to this date, Benny became DDCP’s Warehouse Supervisor based in Paranaque Warehouse. Indeed, Mr. Valmonte’s dedication to his work and the company is worth emulating.

Subsequently, in time for the launching of its new company logo, DDCP participated in the Mining Philippines 2016, International Conference and Exhibition, annually organized by the Philippine Chamber of Mines on August 23-25, 2016 at Marriott Hotel Manila, as part of its continued campaign and commitment to efficient drilling operations for its clients, as well as to become a socially responsible entity. During her closing remarks, keynote speaker Senator Cynthia Villar said, “We do not inherit the earth; we borrow it from our children”. DDCP is confident that it is strategically prepared to operate in adherence and support to Philippine government laws protecting Mother Earth.
