About Diamond Drilling

Diamond Drilling is the extraction of solid cores from depth for examination. It is a key tool employed by the mining industry to find mineral deposits from hundreds and even thousands of meters below the ground, and to probe contents of known ore deposits and potential sites for exploration and expansion of mining companies.

It is also a "Sampling Technique" using diamond core bits for "Mineral Resource Estimation", wherein the mineral deposits are categorized as INFERRED, INDICATED, or MEASURED. The categorization is a means of confidence in the resource estimate of mining firms. Also, with the use of manufactured industrial diamonds, a precise and thorough drilling undertaking and geological parameters such as CUT-OFF GRADE and SPECIFIC GRAVITY of minerals are obtained.
